How do I get locally raised meat?

April 24, 2017 By Ben Lee Processing

Occasionally we have local hog and beef producers that have animals for sale. Most producers will sell their beef by the quarter, side or whole. Pork producers normally sell by the half or whole hog. If you would be interested in buying locally produced pork or beef, you would need to call the producer and inquire how they would sell. The producer would then contact us at Ben-Lee Processing to make a slaughter date and then we would contact you for cutting instructions. You would pay the producer for the animal and we would charge you for the processing.

**At this time 4/24/17 Rita Hansen has 4 hogs available in July-August, call her at 785-470-1891.
